Critical Care & Imaging

The Division of Critical Care & Imaging provides services to our most critically ill and injured patients. The Division includes the Retrieval Service – both road and air, Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, Demand Management Unit, Medical Assessment & Planning Unit, Surgical Short Stay Unit, Surgical Assessment and Planning Unit and the Medical Imaging Department.  The objective of the Division is to provide timely access to quality patient centred care in an environment that promotes evidence based best practice.
