The large planter box in the main foyer will be receiving a makeover every 3 months from the team at Bunnings and Dulux.
Bunnings, Dulux and the Canberra Hospital Foundation will now be looking after the large planter box in the main foyer of the Canberra Hospital. Bunnings and Dulux will be donating their time and supplies to create a different theme every 3 months to keep the foyer looking interesting and fresh. The current theme is a summer beach themed display, complete with sand, BBQ, beach chairs and more. During December small Christmas trees will be added to the display, with decorations created by local schools.
In the area surrounding the Rotary Wishing Well, you might have noticed a variety of little animals peering from amongst the foliage. Keep an eye out for a new competition for children that The Canberra Hospital Foundation will be running soon. Every child who correctly guesses the number of animals playing around the Roatary Pond in the planter box will win a prize!
If any of the items in the Bunnings display catch your eye, make sure you buy a raffle ticket!
In January raffle tickets will be for sale in the main foyer. The prizes consist of all the items that were in the display, generously donated by Bunnings. Each raffle’s proceeds will go towards different wards and areas within the hospital for the purpose of benefiting patients.
