Who we are

The Canberra Hospital Foundation was founded in 2008 and is a charitable fund, based in Canberra ACT. The Foundation raises funds for services and research promoting the health and well being of residents of the Australian Capital Territory and surrounding region.

The Foundation acknowledges that universal healthcare is the responsibility of Government. It is also acknowledged that the community plays an important role in supporting and enhancing our health system and the region in which we live, and therefore the Foundation raises funds for new emerging services, equipment and facilities and research that may be out of the reach of the government alone.
