What we do
The Foundation
- Identifies opportunities and needs in the community that will improve the health and well being of the people of the Canberra community.
- Ensures that funds under our stewardship are allocated according to the wishes of donors and the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997.
We support strategies, services and research that:
- Promote individual family and community health and well being.
- Help our health system provide care and interventions at all levels-from community and primary to acute and post acute care.
- Ensure our health care is based on the best available evidence.
- Strengthen partnerships between healthcare providers, consumers and the community.
Mission
- To work closely with the ACT community to increase the amount of donated money to assist in the provision of better healthcare services for the people of the ACT and surrounding regions through the Canberra Hospital. (TCH)
Vision
- That all residents of the ACT and surrounding regions have access to world class healthcare and facilities.
Aims
- Build stronger links with the community
