About CAN GIVE DAY

CAN GIVE DAY is our flagship fundraising event that raises money to support healthcare services, creating a significant difference for patients in Canberra and surrounding communities. The day is also an opportunity to celebrate the significant contribution of our healthcare workers.

Now in its fourth year, CAN GIVE DAY has raised over $960,000 in total. Last year, we raised $350,000; this year, we need your help to get to $400,000! With your support, we can make an impact on our community and continue the tradition of giving.

The money raised on CAN GIVE DAY directly supports healthcare services, creating a significant difference for patients in Canberra and surrounding regional communities. These funds are crucial in backing research, therapeutic initiatives, revitalising away-from-bed areas, and securing specialised medical equipment. Ultimately, this will assist in elevating all patient's experiences year-round. Further, getting involved in CAN GIVE DAY offers an opportunity to recognise the unwavering dedication and efforts of the incredible healthcare teams in Canberra.

CAN GIVE DAY is a 24-hour fundraising sprint, with exciting activities and community-led fundraisers occurring in the lead-up to the event. It's one big day to give back, driven by passionate community members, organisations, businesses and community groups.

We invite the Canberra and surrounding community to donate, sign up to fundraise and participate in a series of events and challenges to raise funds.

Staff from Canberra Health Services have the opportunity to join in the fun, creating team events and activities that have the option to raise money, knowing it will support staff-led projects throughout the year.This year, we aim to get everyone in our local community involved. Whether you're from Canberra or a neighbouring area, we want you to donate or fundraise for CAN GIVE DAY.
