What is the Big Wig Challenge?
The Big Wig Challenge is making a hair-raising come back for 2023!
Following the success of its launch in 2022, we are thrilled to announce the return of our Big Wig Challenge! On Friday 27 October, an exclusive group of community leaders will once again abseil down a Canberra Hospital building. However, before they take the plunge, they must raise $10,000 as an entry fee.
The Big Wig Challenge supports CAN GIVE DAY, one big day to change lives! CAN GIVE DAY supports healthcare services, creating a significant difference for patients in Canberra and surrounding regional communities. It's a spirited 24-hour fundraising sprint that leaves a lasting impact on the lives of those within our community.
All funds raised go to support research, therapeutic programs, transformations of away-from-bed areas, and the purchase of specialty medical equipment, which enhances the patient experience throughout the year.
