We have a few things still in store and we'd love for you to jump on board.
WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
It's a fundraiser dedicated to supporting patients and their families in Canberra and the surrounding regions.
CAN GIVE DAY benefits our incredible healthcare services by raising funds that directly impact you, your family, friends, neighbours and local community. Every dollar donated directly impacts your community. And, every dollar donated on CAN GIVE DAY will have double the impact! Thanks to our generous matched donors, your donations on CAN GIVE DAY, will be doubled by our matching fund - until these funds are fully exhausted.This means your $1 becomes $2, every $25 becomes $50, and every $50 becomes $100! Your contribution will go twice as far in making a difference.
Participating in the day is a chance to honour the dedication and hard work of our healthcare teams in Canberra. We need you this CAN GIVE DAY to help us support excellent healthcare for your community.
Come together with your community throughout the month of September to fundraise for CAN GIVE DAY.
Funds raised go to support research, therapeutic programs, transformations of away-from-bed areas, and the purchase of specialty medical equipment, which enhances the patient experience throughout the year.

WAYS YOU CAN FUNDRAISE FOR CAN GIVE DAY 2024
Trivia Night
Host a trivia night where participants can form teams and answer questions on various topics. Charge an entry fee, and the winning team gets a prize.
Bake Sale
Encourage your group, friends or community members to bake and donate goods for a bake sale at a local event.
Dress-Up Day
Coordinate a themed dress-up day where participants donate to dress according to the theme. It could be a superhero day, pyjama day, or favourite movie character day.
Art Exhibition
Encourage local artists to showcase their work in an art exhibition. Visitors can purchase the artwork, and a percentage of the proceeds can go towards the fundraiser.
Movie Night
Host an outdoor movie night in a park or an indoor screening at a community centre. Charge an admission fee and provide popcorn and drinks.
Charity Walk/Run
Organise a charity run or walk event, where participants register and pay a fee to participate.
Canberra Book Swap
Set up a book swap event where participants bring books they no longer need and exchange them for a donation.
Cultural Food Festival
Celebrate Canberra's diverse cultures by hosting a food festival. Encourage community members from different backgrounds to showcase their culinary talents.
