Almost every person, at some point in their life, needs public health care. Canberra Hospital Foundation supports patients at any age, for any illness.
Your support helps people in Canberra and the surrounding region.

Research of high quality, including discovery research and research aimed at improving everyday patient care, patient wellbeing, and health outcomes.
Refurbishments of away-from-bed spaces transform the hospital experience. Bright artwork, cosy furniture, and inviting decor make spaces feel less clinical, offering respite and distraction for patients and their families.
Therapeutic programs ensure patients' healing is holistic - taking into consideration mental and emotional wellbeing as a crucial aspect of the journey. The range of different programs offer outlets for relaxation, stimulation, creativity and companionship.
Volunteer at the Canberra Hospital Foundation Charity BBQ!
The Canberra Hospital Foundation Charity BBQ runs every Thursday, serving breakfast and lunch to healthcare workers, patients, and visiting families at the main entrance of Canberra Hospital.
Funds raised through the BBQ support patients throughout all areas of Canberra Health Services.
The BBQ couldn’t run without the help of our amazing volunteers who make up our B-B-Crew, and we're are always searching for new volunteer recruits to join the team!
Whether you’re an individual, community group or team of workmates, we’d love to hear from you if you’d like to make a positive difference and volunteer at the BBQ!
Give the gift of life
Gifts in Wills have a significant impact. Leaving a gift in your Will, no matter how big or small, can be a powerful way to make a real difference. You can improve and save the lives of future generations in the wider Canberra community.
Your legacy will help fund research, purchasing state-of-the-art treatment technology and equipment, as well as life-saving clinical trials and therapeutic wellness programs for patients. You can help ease the suffering of patients and help them get the best care available.
You can help people affected by cancer in Canberra and the surrounding region.
