Support that sizzles!
The Canberra Hospital Foundation Charity BBQ will be back again soon - thank you for your understanding during the COVID-19 lockdowns and restrictions. In the meantime, we are looking for special volunteers. Could it be you?
Outside of COVID restrictions, the BBQ runs every Thursday, serving breakfast and lunch to healthcare workers, patients, and visiting families at the main entrance of Canberra Hospital.
The BBQ has become quite the institution at Canberra Hospital, and COVID-permitting, it runs rain, hail, or shine.
Staffed by the BBQ Manager and a team of wonderful volunteers, the BBQ sells simple, quality foods, sourced through local Canberra businesses.
