What is the Master Cook Challenge?
Prominent Canberra cooks will compete across a series of culinary challenges to take home the Master Cook title and trophy. Each cook will be required to donate or raise $2,000 as an entry fee.
2022 & 2023 Master Cook finalist, Cathie O’Neill, is once again our first confirmed cook, and she welcomes the opportunity to test her skills against others. Are you ready to take Cathie on?
All funds raised go to support research, therapeutic programs, transformations of away-from-bed areas, and the purchase of specialty medical equipment, which enhances the patient experience throughout the year.Join the Sunday Long Lunch at Cuppacumbalong, byCath
Cathie’s event to help raise funds for Master Cook will be held at the beautiful Cuppacumbalong Homestead at 12.30 pm on Sunday 13th October. Enjoy a curated 6 course menu of shared plates championing flavours of Spring.

“The most important things in my life are my family, especially the little grandchildren and great grandbabies, and my role as Community Program Manager for Capital Chemist where I have worked just on 30 years. It brings me a lot of joy and fulfilment, balancing both is a rewarding experience. The financial assistance Capital Chemist can give to support Charities and organisations makes such a meaningful impact to the Canberra Community. I am proud to support the Canberra Hospital Foundation to make a significant difference in the quality of care that they provide”
