I’m Ziplining for Canberra Hospitals Foundation — Will You Support Me?

I am fundraising for the Big Wig Challenge for Canberra Hospitals Foundation!

As part of a select group of community leaders, I've committed to zipline across Canberra Airport on 17th October. 

If you want to see me take the leap, please donate to my Fundraising Page to ensure I meet the target.

Why am I doing this?

I have seen and been affected by what can happen to those we love when issues with health arrive. It could impact any of us at anytime.

So, I'm rolling up my sleeves and seeing what I can do to help out and careering over the edge (in a controlled fashion (I hope).

To do that, I need your help...

I need to raise a minimum of $5,000 to help the Canberra Hospitals Foundation do what they do, support and help out the members of the Canberra community when at their most vulnerable. 

Please dig deep...I'll be digging deep to find my courage!

Agreeing to get involved personally with the Big Wig Challenge took a while to happen. The perseverance of the CHF team and enthusiasm was the key...apparently thay was the easy part.
I realised that most of the Canberra community has been touched by the CHF, just most don't realise. I've been privileged to learn and understand more about what the CHF does and how it changes lives. I've met people who likely would not be here without the work of the CHF. I've experienced the settings supported including the Canberra Hospitals, Clare Holland House and more.  I've seen the work done by the many dedicated staff and volunteers who sew, create and gift blankets, toys and even toiletries for the donation station, those who cook the BBQ each week, those in the Canberra Hospital shop. And that is what you can see.
It was time I could give something, different to what Workday Australia has provided, but hopefully something that can make a real difference to someone in a moment of need.
Now down to it...
