Why I’m Doing This
As CEO of Canberra Hospitals Foundation, I see every day how quickly life can change for people in our community. Out of the blue, a friend, a neighbour, a workmate or someone you love can find themselves in a frightening health crisis.
So, on 17 October, I’m stepping (well, leaping!) out of my comfort zone and ziplining across Canberra Airport. Not because I’m fearless - quite the opposite - but because I believe in showing up for our patients, their families, and the dedicated healthcare teams who care for them.
Before I can take the leap, I need to raise $5,000. Every dollar will help people in our community through some of the hardest days of their lives, providing comfort, dignity, and hope when it’s needed most.
