Go the Gutsy Distance for IBD Kids!

Did you know that up to 65% of paediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) patients face significant emotional distress because of the challenges of their chronic illness and its social stigma?

With paediatric IBD diagnoses on the rise, Canberra Hospital Foundation is dedicated to supporting our local children. Your steps on Sunday 18 May 2025 will help us ensure that children receive the mental and physical support they need.

This is an event for the whole family. Kids under 3 get in for free

Bring the whole family for a fun-filled morning around Lake Burley Griffin! Enjoy a choice of 5km or 2km routes and join in for fun activities, a BBQ and community connections.

This is a pet friendly event - all are encouraged to participate!

Walk for Change

Every step you take will help CHF to support young patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) by providing IBD Comfort Packs.

These packs are practical toolkits filled with essentials that ease daily challenges, reduce anxiety, and empower children to face life with greater confidence.

Joining our Mighty Guts Walkathon helps address both the physical and emotional needs of young IBD warriors by ensuring they have the everyday resources they need to manage their condition effectively.

Register today to support young people with IBD, one stride at a time.
