"I just wanted to say thanks so much for organising the Paws for Pressure visit to building 15 today. It was so lovely to hear everyone ooh and ah at the dogs.  We all had such a lovely time especially as it has been difficult in Covid times.  The joy we all felt from patting and chatting with the dogs has stayed with us all morning.   The dogs and their owners were amazing and so engaging with everyone."

Prominent Canberra cooks will compete across a series of culinary challenges to take home the Master Cook title and trophy.

To secure their place in the competition, each cook will be required to donate or raise $2,000 as an entry fee.

Master Cook will take place around CAN GIVE DAY with a special guest MC and the date of the event to be announced.

The Master Cook Challenge supports CAN GIVE DAY, one big day to change lives!

CAN GIVE DAY supports healthcare services, creating a significant difference for patients in Canberra and surrounding regional communities. It's a spirited 24-hour fundraising sprint that leaves a lasting impact on the lives of those within our community.

All funds raised go to support research, therapeutic programs, transformations of away-from-bed areas, and the purchase of specialty medical equipment, which enhances the patient experience throughout the year.

Change lives this CAN GIVE DAY on Friday, 13 October.
